Superb, deep purplish-red colour. Complex nose with cherry, raspberry,
and violet aromas accompanied by hints of ash and vanilla. Extremely well-focused aromatic profile. Elegant and full-bodied on the palate, showing both balance and power. Beautiful, long aftertaste.

Viticulture

Grape varieties: Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Franc (25%)

Area under vine: 5 hectares

Soil

Clay-limestone and clay-sand-limestone overlaying a
clay subsoil with crasse de fer (ironpan)

Winemaking

Cold pre-fermentation maceration with gentle extraction
to avoid bitter flavours. Fermentation in small temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine is run off into new
oak barrels while still warm to undergo malolactic fermentation.

Ageing

The yeast cell walls are kept in suspension with regular bâtonnage (lees stirring) for four months to enhance the wine's body. Once removed from the lees, the wine is
then aged in barrels for 15 months. Selected for its aromatic qualities, the oak comes from several French regions.

Wooden cases of six 75 cl. bottles and wooden cases
of twelve 75 cl. bottles
